Like/Not Like

I like:
- chocolate in any form
- coffee in any form
- having friends and family visit us for more than three days (less is good too, but I am greedy)
- my laptop (I am ashamed of this)
- waking up early (although I rarely do it)
- when my mind slows down a little
- reading blogs
- Isabel Allende, Anne Tyler, & Banana Yoshimoto
- when Michael makes fun of me
- when Michael is made fun of and he can't react quickly so he just makes some confused sounds
- rainy October
- New York City
- making plans
- the smell of Orthodox Churches
- being with my sister and Oli - safest feeling I know
- red wine
- when Stella talks
- Vivi's smiles
- making scenarios about meeting bloggers I like (one of those came true last summer when I met Raluca!)
- Michael's family
- when Michael is around his friends
- taking naps when we go on trips

I don't like:
- headaches and other pains
- buttons
- having coins or bills on my nightstand or the table where I eat. Same goes with tools of any kind: hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
- being on the computer for too long
- working for too long - especially if I have to do many little things.
- people who talk about how much they work work work and how much they like to work work work
- people on the metro who listen to music on their cell phone without headphones
